Technology Committee
Our Technology Team helps share the ministry of our church both inside our sanctuary and online. The team is responsible for maintaining our church website, livestreaming our worship services each week, and ensuring that our cameras, sound system, and presentation equipment are operating smoothly. They also coordinate volunteers to run the cameras, soundboard, and presentation software during worship services and special events.
Whether you're worshiping in person or online, the Technology Team works behind the scenes to help create a meaningful worship experience and keep our church connected with our congregation and community.
The adult leaders of the Technology Team are Stacia Bonifant, Melanie Giek, and Kevin Giek. If you have an interest in technology or would like to serve in this ministry, we'd love to have you join our team!
Main Street UMC Missions Committee
Our Missions Committee, led by Debbie Plothow, is dedicated to sharing God's love through service both near and far. We support ministries and organizations that make a difference in our local community, across Indiana, throughout the United States, and around the world.
Some of the missions and ministries we currently support include Helping Hands, our local school systems, Cross America, Red Bird Mission, Gideons International, and Operation Christmas Child.

Main Street UMC Prayer Team
Prayer is at the heart of our church family. Our Prayer Team is dedicated to lifting up the needs of our congregation, our community, and the world through faithful and compassionate prayer. Whether you are facing a difficult time, celebrating a blessing, or simply seeking God's guidance, we would be honored to pray for you.
If you would like to have your name or the name of a loved one added to our prayer list, please contact the church office or speak with a member of the Prayer Team. All requests are handled with care and respect, and confidential requests are welcome.

Main Street UMC Strategic Planning Committee
The Strategic Planning Committee helps guide the future of our church by seeking God's direction and developing a shared vision for our ministry. Made up of the leaders of each of our church committees, this team works together to coordinate ministries, identify opportunities for growth, and establish goals that strengthen our congregation and expand our outreach.
By bringing together representatives from every area of church life, the committee ensures that our ministries work together to support our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ and serving our community. Through prayer, collaboration, and thoughtful planning, the Strategic Planning Committee helps prepare our church for the opportunities God has in store.
If you have ideas or suggestions that could help our church grow in ministry and service, we encourage you to share them with a member of the Strategic Planning Committee or the church office. We value the input of our entire church family as we plan for the future together.
United Methodist Women
Our United Women in Faith is a welcoming group of women who enjoy growing in faith, serving others, and building lasting friendships. The group meets regularly for coffee, fellowship, and lunch while supporting the ministries of our church.
Throughout the year, they help pack Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes, organize our annual church rummage sale, and present graduating high school seniors with a special gift and message of encouragement.
Their biggest fundraiser is the Annual Chicken Noodle Dinner, a beloved Peru tradition that brings the community together while supporting the missions and ministries of our church.
Whether you're looking to serve, build friendships, or grow in your faith, we invite you to join us. New members are always welcome!
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse that shares God's love with children around the world by providing gift-filled shoeboxes. Each shoebox contains toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and other small gifts, along with the opportunity for children and their families to hear the message of Jesus Christ. Our congregation collects items throughout the year and packs shoeboxes to help bring joy, hope, and the love of Christ to children in need around the world. Our committee is led by Melanie Giek, Kristi Jordan, Debbie Plothow and Janet Vincent.
