This is a group photo of the congregation taken in spring 2025. We will retake the picture again next year! We invite you to attend Main Street UMC and hope to see you soon.

Main Street UMC Choir
The Church Choir is a wonderful group of people who love to worship through music and share their gifts with our congregation. Under the direction of Nancy Huskey and Don Krug, the choir enhances our worship services with inspiring anthems and special music throughout the year.
You don't have to be a professional singer or read music to join—just bring a willing heart and a desire to praise God through song. The choir welcomes singers of all experience levels and provides a wonderful opportunity to grow in faith, build friendships, and be part of a meaningful ministry.
If you've ever thought about singing in the choir, we'd love to have you join us! Come share your voice and help lead our congregation in worship. Everyone is welcome!

Main Street Preschool
Each May, our church celebrates one of the sweetest traditions of the year—Main Street UMC Preschool Graduation! Family and friends gather to honor our graduating preschool students as they proudly wear their adorable caps and gowns, sing songs, and share what they have learned about Jesus throughout the school year. It is a joyful celebration of their growth, faith, and readiness for kindergarten.
Led by Cami Walters and three dedicated assistant teachers, Main Street UMC Preschool has earned an excellent reputation throughout Miami County for providing a high-quality preschool education in a loving Christian environment. Our goal is to help every child develop academically, socially, and spiritually while preparing them for success in kindergarten and beyond.
If you would like more information about our preschool, please call the church office at 765-472-3323 or visit the Preschool page on our website. We would love to tell you more about our program!

Youth Sunday
Twice each year, in April and December, our congregation celebrates Youth Sunday, a special worship service led entirely by the youth of our church. From the sermon and liturgy to the Focus on the Children, Scripture readings, prayers, and special music, our young people take an active role in every aspect of the service.
Youth Sunday is a wonderful opportunity for our congregation to witness the faith, talents, and leadership of the next generation. It is always an inspiring and meaningful service as our youth share God's message in their own unique way while growing in confidence and discipleship. We invite everyone to join us as we celebrate and encourage the young leaders of our church.

Main Street UMC Acolytes
Our Youth Acolyte Ministry gives young people the opportunity to actively participate in worship while serving God and our congregation. Each Sunday, one or two acolytes begin the worship service by carrying the light of Christ into the sanctuary and lighting the altar candles. At the close of the service, they extinguish the candles and carry the light back out, symbolizing that we take the light of Christ with us as we go into the world to serve others.
Serving as an acolyte is a meaningful way for children and youth to grow in their faith, learn about worship, and develop leadership skills. The ministry is open to all youth from second grade through high school, and training is provided.
If your child is interested in becoming an acolyte, we would love to welcome them to this important ministry.

Baptism at Main Street UMC
Baptism is a sacred sacrament and a beautiful celebration of God's grace and love. In the United Methodist Church, baptism is a sign of our relationship with God and our welcome into the family of faith. We joyfully baptize infants, children, youth, and adults.
At Main Street United Methodist Church, you may choose to be baptized by sprinkling or immersion (submersion), according to your preference and tradition. Whether you are seeking baptism for yourself or your child, we would be honored to celebrate this special milestone with you.
If you are interested in learning more about baptism or would like to schedule a baptism, please speak with Pastor John Mansur. He would be happy to answer your questions and help you prepare for this meaningful step in your faith journey.walk together in faith. There’s a place for you here — welcome!
