Main Street Preschool
Welcome to Main Street Preschool!
At Main Street Preschool, our mission is to create a nurturing environment where children can grow in their faith by learning God’s Word, while also developing intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally through a rich curriculum and engaging activities. We are equally committed to supporting parents and guardians by providing spiritual encouragement, helpful resources, and consistent communication.
Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to prepare children for future success. We incorporate Heggerty, a daily phonemic awareness program for our pre-kindergarten students, and use Scholastic materials, including monthly magazines and enrichment worksheets. To support early writing skills, we implement Handwriting Without Tears. Our pre-kindergarten classes also enjoy Kindermusik with Nancy Spahr Husky twice a month, and all students benefit from interactive lessons using our smart board technology. Beyond academics, we emphasize the importance of social development, teaching children essential skills like sharing, cooperation, and taking turns.
